Windows Ads

If the idea of more ads has been putting you off upgrading to Windows 11, here’s something to be aware of: Microsoft seems to be testing ads in the Windows 10 Start menu too.

Right now, they’re testing a Microsoft “account manager” feature that you can access from the Start button. Although this could be a helpful feature, it looks like it could also be used to push Microsoft’s products and services, such as 365.

While it’s true that ads might be frustrating for some, it’s worth the compromise if you want better performance, security features, and functionality.

And since ads are looking likely to become part of the experience even if you stay on Windows 10, it's a good time to consider upgrading.

Have you been holding off upgrading your business due to ads in Windows 11?
