Phishing emails - beware

There’s been a huge rise lately in phishing emails pretending to be from Microsoft, and they’re getting even harder to spot.

At first glance, phishing emails can look 100% legit. The sender’s address can seem genuine, the wording can be spot on, and the design can look completely professional. And now scammers are adding things like privacy policies and links to Microsoft pages to fool you even more. Scary.

Falling for one of these scams could lead to malware (a harmful type of software that can mess up your computer or steal your information) or ransomware (a type of malware that locks you out of your files until you pay a ransom).

This is why it’s so important to make sure your team knows what to look out for. You should also consider using tools like multi-factor authentication on all your devices (we can help with this).

Have you or your team seen any of these phishing emails?
